AI, automation, software & self-driving cars: Who is liable when AI takes the wheel?
The data paints a very clear picture: the higher the level of automation, the fewer the accidents. Every stage of automation reduces risk.
Studies in the United States and the EU (L3Pilot) show that automated systems can compensate for human weaknesses such as distraction, fatigue and errors of judgement.
